Upstate Investors Night 2025: An Evening of Insight, Connection and Growth

Earlier this month, we were proud to host our annual Upstate Investors Night, a signature evening dedicated to our landlords, investors and business partners.

Held at our Dee Why office, the event brought together more than seventy guests for a night of meaningful connection, valuable insights and genuine conversation over curated canapés and drinks.

Designed to empower our clients with up-to-date knowledge and direct access to our team, the evening reflected the collaborative, client-first spirit that defines the Upstate brand.

An Inspiring Line-Up of Industry Leaders

The evening opened with Director in Charge, Peter Mosedale, who welcomed guests and set the tone with a light market update and reflections on how Upstate continues to redefine the client experience through transparency, innovation and strong results.

Following Peter, Joshua Thomas, Head of Property Management, delivered a highly practical session on recent legislative changes impacting landlords, the structure and expertise of Upstate’s Property Management team, and the innovative technology and programs being implemented to enhance communication, efficiency and overall client satisfaction.

Amelia Steinmetz, NSW/ACT Sales Manager at Realestate.com.au, then shared exclusive insights into tenant search behaviour and rental trends across the Northern Beaches, highlighting how market dynamics are shifting and what this means for landlords planning their next move.

Next, John Hall, Director and Head of New Business, provided a deeper dive into the Northern Beaches property landscape, sharing how Upstate’s progressive approach and commitment to doing things differently continues to lift industry benchmarks and deliver exceptional outcomes for clients.

To conclude, Mitchell Moroney, Senior Lending Adviser from Catalyst Finance, offered a finance-focused perspective on borrowing, interest rates, loan structures and lending products, equipping investors with actionable strategies to strengthen their portfolios and maximise returns.

Community and Connection

Beyond the presentations, the true highlight of the evening was the sense of community that filled the room.

Guests had the opportunity to meet their Property Managers and key members of the Upstate team in person, a chance to ask questions, exchange ideas and simply connect on a more personal level in a relaxed, professional setting.

These genuine conversations are what make events like this so special. They allow our clients to see the people behind the brand, experts who not only manage assets, but who care deeply about their clients’ success and long-term goals. The atmosphere was warm, collaborative and forward-thinking, reinforcing the strong relationships that have always been at the heart of Upstate.

More Than Property

At Upstate, we offer more than traditional real estate services, we offer a complete, connected experience.

With dedicated teams across Residential Sales, Property Management, Commercial sales & Leasing, Projects and Concierge, everything sits under one roof, giving our clients seamless access to every aspect of their property journey.

This integrated approach means our clients can move confidently between buying, selling, leasing and investing, supported by a unified team that shares insights, data and expertise at every step. It’s a model that delivers smarter outcomes and positions our clients ahead of the market.

Events like Investors Night are an extension of that philosophy: creating spaces where our clients can learn from experts, stay informed, and strengthen the relationships that help them make confident, strategic property decisions.

We’d like to thank everyone who joined us for making the evening such a success. For those who couldn’t attend, we look forward to welcoming you next time for another opportunity to connect, gain insight and experience the Upstate difference.
