After six years in the making, the highly anticipated ‘Bathers Collaroy’ development is fully underway with the first sods being turned in a traditional ground-breaking ceremony on Friday 13th October.
With Michael Regan, the Member of the NSW Legislative Assemble for Wakehurst in attendance, gold embossed shovels at the ready to mark the milestone, and a barbecue sizzling away in a marquee, the significance of the event was evident, as was the excitement shared by all the parties present that were involved in making it happen and the next phase of bringing ‘Bathers Collaroy’ to life.
Steve Howell, CEO of Award Winning Developer, HCAP Developments, was proud to share the milestone event with Jad Maroun and his team of the Gold Star iCIRT rated Lords Group, the appointed builder for ‘Bathers Collaroy’. Renowned in the Eastern Suburbs for their success and experience in building high-end boutique developments, this is Lords Group’s first foray into the Northern Beaches, and they are committed to delivering the project’s vison and making a lasting impression.
Mr Howell is confident he has assembled the best in the business to run the project that includes Gartner Trovato as the Architects, Neoscape as the project managers, Coco Republic as the interior designers and Upstate as the sales agent.
Occupying 2,500sqm with two street frontages to Collaroy Street and Alexander Street, the premium site, previously The Sydney Beachhouse backpackers, is located directly behind the shopping strip just 100m from the beach.
Comprising 34 x two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses, selling agent and Managing Director of Upstate Peter Mosedale states it’s “the most significant new development to be launched in Collaroy for the past decade. The design and quality are next level and the amenities within the building are simply world-class. It’s what Collaroy has been longing for”.
Mr Howell sourced extensive feedback from local businesses and residents to ensure ‘Bathers Collaroy’ would “complement the community and beachside aesthetic of the area” which culminated in 140 positive submissions from the community in support of ‘Bathers Collaroy’.
The state-of-the-art residences are designed for indoor/outdoor living and fitted with every conceivable luxury, but it’s the 330m2 of amenities that add the serious “wow” factor with everything from a gymnasium, surf shack with change rooms and outdoor showers to a sauna, club house with billiards room and an alfresco entertaining area with barbecue facilities.
Generating over 3,500 enquiries, ‘Bathers Collaroy’ is now 30% sold with completion anticipated in mid-2025. To learn more contact the Bathers Collaroy team on 1800 445 455 or visit batherscollaroy.com.au.
