In 2015, Sunland purchased a development site at Macpherson Street Warriewood with a vision of creating a vibrant townhouse community for young families and downsizers within the broader Northern Beaches community.
The site was sensitive to both the natural environment and to concerns of local residents about the site being over developed. As such we sought proposals from agents to provide a full suite of project marketing services seeking an organisation that was capable of understanding our vision for the site, knew the local community and could work with our team to deliver a truly unique project accepted by the local community. Following a careful review and discussions we choose to engaged Upstate previously Raine & Horne to partner with.
Key to the success of the project was Upstate’s understanding and knowledge of the local market. The team facilitate workshops, advised on finishes, product mix and added value throughout the lead up to launch to help maximize the return whilst delivering a project the community wanted.
Being Sunland’s first development on the Northern Beaches the Upstate team and office with its network across the northern beaches helped establish our brand Sunland in the local market. This was done by the office speaking with members of the community sharing our vision. The efforted rewarded with the 79 townhomes selling out in two one day sales events without the use of real estate portals such as domain or realestate.com. Good old fashioned word of mouth.
Post sales Upstate also excelled. Our clients were treated with the utmost respect and care. The team ensured the purchasers were kept up to date with the construction activities, assisted clients in dealing with brokers, banks, insurers, removalists etc. to make the settlement process seamless.
