As the leading team of real estate experts on the Northern Beaches, Upstate is at the forefront of the property industry. We’re seeking a dynamic Content & Social Media Coordinator to drive our digital marketing, social content, and community sponsorships. If you’re a marketing superstar with an eye for detail and design, and you thrive on coordinating impactful content for all digital channels, this role is for you.

What will you be responsible for?

You’ll play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day communications while crafting engaging content for the brand’s social media channels, coordinating email marketing campaigns, writing relevant blogs, and working with external suppliers and creative/media agencies. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Digital Strategy: Support the Marketing team in developing and implementing Upstate’s digital marketing strategy for various business areas, including Residential Sales, Commercial, Projects, and Property Management.
  • Social Media Content: Create and manage monthly content plans for all organic social media channels, ensuring content is engaging and aligned with brand goals.
  • EDM & SMS Campaigns: Work with the Designer to craft compelling email and SMS campaigns using Marketing CRM ActiveCampaign, targeting segmented audiences with personalised messaging.
  • Manage Sponsorships & Partnerships: Oversee relationships with local community groups and individual sponsors, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns using tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Super Metrics, and Looker Studio, and provide actionable insights.
  • Agency Collaboration: Develop creative briefs for external agencies to produce on-brand content, including property videos, brand campaigns, and content for agents, events, and conferences.
  • Event Support: Assist the Operations Manager in planning and executing client and staff events, ensuring they run smoothly and meet objectives.
  • Agent Marketing Strategy: Guide and support real estate agents in developing and implementing their personal marketing strategies across organic channels.
  • Content Optimisation: Regularly review and optimise content for SEO and engagement to improve reach and effectiveness. This includes creating blog content relevant to the real estate industry for our website to attract and engage our target audience.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging digital marketing techniques to keep Upstate’s marketing strategies innovative and effective.

What do you need to bring?

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role with relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Local Knowledge: A Northern Beaches local is highly regarded, bringing valuable insights into the local market and community.
  • Strong Understanding of the Digital Landscape: Excellent knowledge of digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies with particular emphasis on social media platforms.
  • Creative and Design-Savvy: Strong creative flair with the ability to produce engaging content and a basic understanding of graphic design principles.
  • Understanding of Social Algorithms: Knowledge of social media algorithms and the ability to create effective content that leverages these algorithms for better engagement.
  • Highly Organised and Detail-Oriented: Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail, particularly in proofreading and ensuring accuracy in all marketing materials.
  • Results-Driven: Demonstrated ability to analyse marketing metrics and reporting, with experience in using data to drive campaign success and make informed decisions.
  • Confident Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence key stakeholders.
  • Dynamic and Creative: A dynamic and up-to-date approach to marketing, with the ability to bring fresh ideas and energy to the team
  • Experience with Marketing Tools: Familiarity with social media scheduling platforms (e.g., Loomly), paid media channels (e.g., Facebook Ads), and email marketing systems (e.g., ActiveCampaign) is advantageous but not essential.
